The mix is not too bad I believe.
For the details I used the mechanical pencil and for the hair the dark graphite.

HDR photos
Looks like with HDR the photos look a bit better on the web page.
So from now on I will have to hold still while taking the pictures.

Did a picture of this with HDR enabled.
Maybe that way it looks better on the website.
Graphite pencil again
And again and again.
The thick pencil feels quite nice, but the results are not what one shoudl expect after one year.
Too much shading
Making the sketch too dark is not a good thing.
But the photo of the sketch looks better than the original on paper.
Last day of October
Another month finished, only two to go.
Still I do not feel like I made a ton of progress.
October nearly done
Well only one day left for October. Never before did I manage to get this far in the year.
Two month to go and then I need another new year resolution.
Mechanical pencil to the rescue
Needed to use a different medium. So why not use a mechnical pencil for the whole sketch.

Don’t have much time today. so I need to make this a quick one.

Need to change the medium again, feeling quite comfortable and we don’t want that.
