Only one more month to go. Should be possible to finish this year, after several failed attempts.

Krita takes more time than a pencil
These sketches take a lot more time than a simple pencil sketch.
But they do look better.
Gray background
With the gray in the background it was easier to get some quick highlights in.
No need to darken the whole picture.
Black instead of brown
I changed the color slightly and now the brush behaves much like charcoal.
Something in brown
I liked the brown pencil in Krita and so I gave it a try.
First time with the new tablet display
Just needed an excuse to use the new tablet display.
I like it a lot, it is HUGE.
Black and white again
Emphasis on white, I used gray paper and graphite pencil. Plus a little bit of white highlights.
Tiny girl
She was supposed to be a girl. Not sure if I really captured that correctly.
Like an old filmstar?
The photo appeared like it was from an old explorer film out of africa or something like that.
Not sure if this is remotely true, but who cares 😉
The hair was a lot lighter
Wasn’t able to get the hait as light as it was.
She was very blond and now it looks like brown hair.
A lot of work still to be done.
