Messy sketch
But on purpose. I wanted to see if this kind of shading might work for me. It is extremely quick but the results are not as good as I hoped.
I don’t like drawing hair
As one can obviously see. But it still seems to work somehow.
Inkwash with a little water pump
Got myself a little help with getting the water out of the container. A little water pump is all it takes.
Fineliner again
I really like the new tiny fine liner. It makes for a nice shading overall.
Very fine new pencil
This is a Pentel 0.05 fine liner and it makes beautiful marks on the paper.
His eyes are not level
The right eye seems to be a bit too low. But with ink there is little chance to change that. 🙁
New perspective
This is a slightly different view. Needed to adjust a few things. But still I believe the eyes are off a tiny bit.
Shading some more
My daughter said she can recognize this one from the reference. After 9 month I finally get a resemblance of what I am supposed to sketch.
Again the same man
Sketched this man before, even in the same pose. Need to find the older ones to compare the progress.
